केरल के कायमकुक्कम में एक 70 साल की बुजुर्ग महिला के साथ 29 साल के शख्स ने रेप किया। महिला घर पर अकेले रहती है। आरोपी ने पहले बुजुर्ग से बलात्कार किया। फिर आंख में मिर्च झोंककर घर में रखे गहने ले गया। साथ में महिला का फोन भी चुरा लिया ताकि वह किसी को कॉल न कर सके। बाद में आरोपी जब गहने बेचने सुनार की दुकान पर गया, तब वह पकड़ा गया।
