जापान के इशिकावा प्रान्त में सोमवार सुबह भूकंप के तेज झटके महसूस किए गए। रिक्टर स्केल पर इसकी तीव्रता 5.9 मापी गई, हालांकि अधिकारियों ने सुनामी के खतरे की पुष्टि नहीं की है। जापान मौसम विज्ञान एजेंसी ने बताया कि भूकंप का केंद्र जमीन से 10 किलोमीटर अंदर था। फिलहाल सुनामी का अलर्ट जारी नहीं किया गया है।
